A man was robbed at gunpoint outside of a liquor store Sunday when two unidentified males fooled him into stopping his car then attacked him and stole his cell phone.

The 28-year-old victim told Colorado Springs police he had just left Mission Pointe Liquors, 3051 Jet Wing Dr., about 7 p.m. when two men stopped him in the parking lot, pounding on his car windows. One of the men then opened his car door and ordered him to get out, then punched him in the ribs. The other man, police said, pointed a handgun at him and stole the victim's cell phone.

Both men left on foot in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information can call police at (719)444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at (719)634-STOP.
