CENTENNIAL — A man accused of running a red light and killing a teen in Aurora in a suspected drunken-driving accident has been charged with first-degree murder.

Forty-year-old Ever Olivos-Gutierrez was also charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence for at least the third time on Monday. He appeared in court in Centennial but waived a formal reading of the charges.

The Denver Post (http://bit.ly/1ffDjk2 ) reports that several relatives of 17-year-old Juan Carlos Dominguez-Palomino attended the hearing.

According to an arrest affidavit, Olivos-Gutierrez had a blood-alcohol limit at least four times the legal limit after the March 24 crash.

He is in the country illegally and authorities say he didn't have a valid Colorado driver's license.
