Christopher Andrew Miller, 29, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder in connection with a woman found dead in Manitou Springs Tuesday.

El Paso County Sheriff's Office investigators said Miller was the same person who reported the discovery of the body to the Manitou Springs Police Department around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Miller was booked into the El Paso County jail without bond, records show.

The victim's identity will not be released until the autopsy is completed and next-of-kin is notified, Lt. Jeff Kramer, a sheriff's office spokesman, said.

No information surrounding the circumstances of the homicide or Miller's relationship to the victim was available and Kramer said the affidavits in the case have been sealed.

According to the sheriff's office, Miller called police and said he found a dead woman inside his home on Waltham Avenue, west of Manitou Avenue and north of Ruxton Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to call the sheriff's office at 390-5555.
