Man arrested in connection to several car burglaries

A man suspected in a several car break-ins was arrested Friday morning, Colorado Springs police said.

Timothy Taylor is suspected of breaking into a car at the Arby's restaurant at 5710 N. Academy Blvd, just south of Vickers Drive, on Friday morning.

Police suspect he also broke into several other cars parked at Palmer Park trail heads.

Taylor was arrested at the park after he had allegedly forced open a vehicle luggage container, and stole two purses containing checks, credit cards and cash, police said.
