A 44-year-old man is accused of robbing four banks in Colorado Springs during a three-month period, police said.

Wesley Ceplecha, was arrested in Security-Widefield on Tuesday, three days after he allegedly struck a fourth time, Colorado Springs police said.

He could face three counts of robbery and one count of aggravated robbery, police said.

Police accuse Ceplecha of robbing Academy Bank, 1 S. Tejon St., on Aug. 13 and Oct. 19, and People's Bank, 19 N. Tejon St., on Aug. 27.

The last robbery happened Saturday at TCF Bank, 3175 E. Platte Ave., police said.

Investigators identified Ceplecha as a suspect after his third holdup, "and as investigators were working to confirm his whereabouts, he struck a fourth time" on Saturday, police said in a report.

Police said during one holdup he told a bank employee he had a weapon, but no one saw a weapons in any of the robberies.
