The FBI has arrested a Brooklyn, N.Y., man after he sent pictures of two MAC-11 submachine guns to officials of a Denver business and threatened to turn it into Las Vegas II.

FBI agents arrested Victor Casillas, 34, Tuesday night in midtown Manhattan, said John Marzulli, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office in Brooklyn. Casillas is to appear in magistrate court of the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of New York Wednesday afternoon, Marzulli said.

Casillas made a series of threats between Sept. 26 and Oct. 1 against employees of Denver company Ibotta as part of an extortionate scheme, according to the criminal complaint filed under seal Friday in U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of New York. He allegedly sent a hit list naming seven Ibotta officials.

“Get ready for a Las Vegas repeat (final warning),” said an email Oct. 4. “I still have not recieved (sic) my god dam FLTNDS…(profanity). . . Well get ready 5 Las Vegaspart2…Maybe today you will meet you (sic) maker.”
