A man is now in custody after Colorado Springs police say his truck ended up hitting an apartment building Saturday morning.

It happened outside the Park Meadows Apartments off Mount Werner Circle in the Stratton Meadows area.

Police say alcohol may be a factor in the crash. The driver of a blue Dodge Dakota truck allegedly first hit an electric box, then crashed into two other cars before careening into a wooden beam, then finally ending up leaving a large dent in the building.

The crash also caused a power outage for the surrounding homes.

Luckily, no one was injured in the crash. It's unclear at this point how much structural damage was done to the apartment.
