By Andrea Sinclair Published: March 3, 2014

There were no arrests after Colorado Springs police said a man and a woman stopped by a tattoo parlor and reportedly fired several rounds at a parked vehicle.

A man told police his vehicle was shot at about 10 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Beacon and Fillmore streets, west of North Nevada Avenue, but no one was injured.

Investigators found out a woman had entered a nearby tattoo parlor requesting a piercing, but was told the tattoo shop didn't do piercings, police said.

According to witness accounts, the woman left and got into the driver's side of a white Chrysler Lebaron, driving around the tattoo shop and stopping at Beacon and Fillmore streets. The Lebaron's passenger, an unidentified male, then reportedly shot at a vehicle parked in front of the tattoo parlor.

Investigators recovered two shell casings from a large caliber handgun in the area, police said.

The Lebaron's occupants fled the scene before police arrived and no descriptions were available, according to police reports.

Anyone with information can call police at 444-7000.
