Man allegedly beat grandmother, stole her car

Police are looking for a man who allegedly beat his grandmother and stole her car.

The Colorado Springs Police Department received a 911 call about a family disturbance in the 2800 block of Tenderfoot Hill Street

A 73-year-old woman said her grandson, 18-year-old Samuel Flores, had repeatedly beaten her with an unknown object before she escaped and ran to a neighbor's house.

While the she was escaping, she said Flores left in her car, a 2004 grey Cadillac with a license plate 217-PWI, police said.  The woman was take to the hospital with serious injuries but was in stable condition.

An arrest warrant has been issues for Flores on charges including attempted 2nd degree murder and aggravated motor vehicle theft.
