Madison Square Garden, Big House provide memorable venues for Air Force, but another might top them

Much has been made of Air Force venues this season, and for good reason.

The football team played in front of 111,387 at the Big House at Michigan in September, and on Sunday the basketball team faced Army at famed Madison Square Garden.

But when it comes to unique settings, neither can touch where the wrestling team went in November.

The Falcons faced Big 12 foe (yes, the wrestling team at Air Force is part of the Big 12) in a dual on the flight deck of the USS Midway on Nov. 22 in San Diego.

Another difference between these three? The football and basketball teams lost on those memorable stages. The wrestling team came away with a 24-12 victory.
