The 41-year-old private-equity specialist had been arrested in connection with the May 5 incident on Putney Bridge over the Thames River. Bellquist was out of the country when the assault occurred, his lawyer said on Friday.

Police said they arrested a suspect at a property in the Chelsea area, taken to a south London station and later released.
