LOS ANGELES - Hyun-Jin Ryu struck out 12 in six innings, Hanley Ramirez homered in his first start of the season and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 6-1 on Tuesday night.
The Rockies got an early jump on Ryu (3-1) when Carlos Gonzalez hit a solo home run in the first inning, but the lead didn't last long.
The Dodgers scored two runs in each of the first three innings, with six different players driving in runs.
Matt Kemp had a run-scoring single and Adrian Gonzalez added a sacrifice fly in the first. Jerry Hairston and Nick Punto hit RBI singles in the second inning, while Ramirez and Ryu each drove in a run in the third.
All six runs came at the expense of Rockies starter Jorge De La Rosa (2-3), who is now 0-8 in his career against the Dodgers.
