A family of four has been displaced after their home caught fire late Saturday.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to multiple calls about a structure fire at 5830 Northwind Drive east of Vickers and Flintridge drives and found the house ablaze, firefighters said.

No one was home at the time of the fire, which is under control, but not before an interior floor had collapsed.

No injuries were reported, however some family pets are unaccounted for.

One of the initial emergency calls came from an off-duty firefighter who lives across the street from the house.
