Hot weather to continue this week in Colorado Springs

After record-breaking heat on Friday and Saturday, the tempterature will cool down on Sunday with a high of 77 degrees and mostly sunny skies.

The coolness will be short-lived though as Monday's temperature will reach back up to 86 degrees.

Tuedsay will be sunny and then a 10 percent change of afternoon thunderstorms according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

"Temperatures will be in the 90s for the rest of the week and Friday's high will be 86 degrees," wrote Gazette news partner KKTV.
