Hootenanny for the Arts returns to downtown Colorado Springs

Hootenanny for the Arts returns to The Mansion on Friday.

The evening, titled "Brazilian Carnivale," has a non-stop slate of entertainment, including cirque d' soleil artists on trapeze, Brazilian dancers, capoeira, live art and a mock movie set. There'll be Brazilian tapas, cocktails and more.

Proceeds benefit the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, the Colorado Springs Conservatory and First Take Film Fellowship COS.

When: 6-11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8
