At an event Tuesday in Las Vegas, Nevada, the NHL unveiled the new uniforms for all 31 teams, including the Colorado Avalanche and expansion Vegas Golden Knights.
Although the jerseys for most teams only had slight adjustments, the Colorado Avalanche was one of the teams with major changes.
According to Adidas, the new uniforms were constructed using state-of-the-art technology in order to make them lighter, cooler and stronger.
With the help from Adidas design team the Avs uniforms are going to be similar to the team's classic design from 1995. The uniforms will include the signature hemlines portraying the picturesque the Colorado mountain landscape. A Colorado “C” has been imprinted on both shoulders as a reference to the state flag and a bold silver trim has been added as well.
