GUEST COLUMNIST: President is an inexperienced leader, and it clearly shows

Edward Klein, a bestselling author, in his book "The Amateur" chronicles Bill Clinton following observation of President Obama: "The economy's a mess, it's flat dead. He doesn't know how the world works. He's incompetent . Barack Obama is an amateur."

It is obvious that Obama was not qualified to be president. He had no executive experience and had never managed a business. Consequently, he is responsible for the worst economic recovery on record, strong-arming a health care bill through Congress that is in shambles, is accountable for the explosion of entitlements, and who will have incurred more national debt than all of the other presidents combined.

President Obama directs an administration that is morally corrupt. According to the annual list of "The Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians," compiled by the nonpartisan Judicial Watch, six of the 10 selected were Obama and five members of his cabinet.

Because of a series of scandals, lawless behavior, regular violations of the Constitution, unprecedented secrecy, lying with impunity, and the abuse of "executive privileges," this administration is considered, by many, as the most unscrupulous in our country's history.

Not only is Obama morally corrupt, but is also considered "America's most biblically hostile president." This is especially disconcerting since our Founding Fathers considered religious liberty our first freedom and "the bedrock upon which all other freedoms rest."

Obama's greatest threat to our republic, however, is his disrespect for our Constitution. Obama has a history of usurping his authority and of violating the constitutional balance of powers.

Some of the more reprehensible examples include the following: 1) Implemented the "Dream Act" by executive fiat, which in essence granted amnesty to 1.7 million illegal aliens, 2) Violated his oath of office and the Constitution by not defending laws he didn't like (e.g. DOMA), 3) Violated the "Separation of Powers" of the Constitution by ignoring Congress and illegally making changes to The Affordable Care Act, 4) Violated a federal statute by making recess appointments of members of the National Labor Relations Board while the Senate was still in session.

Does Obama represent the values and ideology upon which this country was founded?

I think not.

Involved in opening three private, Christian schools, Ted Traxler is a retired teacher, who taught at both private and public schools.

Lois Fornander's response:

Edward Klein's hit-piece, filled with fabrications about Obama, has been discredited by right and left. Judicial Watch is bipartisan only in that it attacks both Democrats and Republicans from the radical right. Traxler fuels the cultural schism paralyzing Congress. He and his ilk spout opinions (from their media preferences) as fact, and their attitudes infect everyone.

Thinking like his is behind the unhinged attacks on our public spaces. We do not need yet another person going off the rails.

And he proves my point: Obama was correct to employ legal executive powers (although far fewer than GW Bush, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon and LBJ).
