MOOSE, Wyo. (AP) — Park officials say a male grizzly bear that had been frequenting the Lizard Creek campground at Grand Teton National Park has been relocated.
The National Park Service says the 212-pound bear was captured and moved northwest of the park Monday after hazing it didn't seem to keep it away from the campground.
The bear was released after it was radio-collared. It is believed to be about 3 to 4 years old.
Park officials say the bear was moved for its own welfare and for public safety.
