LOWELL, Vt. (AP) — Vermont's largest electric utility is offering free public tours of its 21-turbine Kingdom Community Wind project in Lowell.

Green Mountain Power says more than a dozen tours will be offered in June, July and August. The first tour will be June 4.

The tours last about 90 minutes and include visits to two of the turbines.

The tours are free, but advance registration is required.

People can make a reservation by calling GMP or signing up on the company's website.
