A man accused of stalking a young girl in Green Mountain Falls pleaded guilty Monday morning to promotion of obscenity to a minor.

Louis Pico, 67, was arrested in August on suspicion of stalking, obscenity, indecent exposure and public indecency. Pico left the girl suggestive notes, money and candy, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said at the time of the arrest.

He was also suspected of pointing a laser pointer through a girl's window and then touching himself when she came to the window, according to the arrest affidavit obtained by Gazette news partner KKTV.

On Oct. 10, he pleaded not guilty to charges of stalking causing emotional distress and indecent exposure. A jury trial was scheduled to start Monday.

Pico will be sentenced on April 9.
