Greeley man dead after argument on bus leads to assault

Loveland police arrested a man suspected of killing a 41-year-old Greeley man after the two argued on a charter bus returning from Black Hawk on Sunday.

Billy Kirk Page died of blunt force trauma, according to the Larimer County coroner. Cory James Nix, 32, is in custody after assaulting Page in the south parking lot of the Chilson Recreation Center on East Fourth Street in Loveland, according to a release.

Page and Nix, of Loveland, traveled from the recreation center on the private charter bus to Black Hawk. "On the return trip to Loveland, Nix and Page were involved in an argument on the bus," the release said.
