By early Tuesday evening Republican voters will determine whether Jaxine Bubis or Bernie Herpin will be the party's candidate to replace State Sen. John Morse of Colorado Springs, should a recall effort against him be successful.

A total of 52 votes will be cast by precinct captains in Senate District 11, which covers central Colorado Springs. The voters will be dropping off their ballots at the El Paso County clerk's office throughout the day and the result will be announced in the early evening.
