Girls' golf regionals roundup

Highlights from Monday's girls' golf regionals.

 

5A Central Regional

At Broken Tee: Regis Jesuit held off Cherry Creek by six strokes, but both teams qualified on Monday for the state tournament.

Fountain-Fort Carson, the Pikes Peak region's lone representative at the regional, did not have any players qualify as individuals. The Trojans finished 12th out of 14 teams.

 

5A Southern Regional

At Country Club of Colorado: Arapahoe won the regional team competition with a score of 245, while Highlands Ranch came in second with 249.

Both teams qualify for state.

Individually, Arapahoe's Hannah Wood shot 71 to win the tournament. Remy Mullen of Monarch was the final qualifier with a score of 96.

Liberty did not have any qualifiers.

 

4A Western Regional

At Fox Hollow: Ali Peper of Arvada West shot 78 to win the individual title at the regional.

Fossil Ridge took the team title by two strokes, holding off Denver East 247-249.

Palmer finished 11th as a team.

Rampart's Jessi Mollitor finished in 24th with a score of 99.

Karlye Enkler of Palmer finished 33rd.
