Construction is underway on the foundation for Phase 1 of the NeuStream scrubber system at the Martin Drake Power Plant. David Olonia of Mel-Ro Construction ties a rebar cage for the foundation on Wednesday, October 23, 2013. The foundation will be built for the four large tanks of the scrubber. Construction of a building that will house the system will start in January during Phase 2. The system will target sulphur dioxide for removal from emissions of the plant.
