The 1859 pioneer Garvin Cabin is the centerpiece of Bankcroft Park in the Old Colorado City National Historic District. It existed when the second Territorial Legislature met in 1862 in Colorado City, as the town was known prior to being annexed into Colorado Springs in 1917. This is a 2009 file photo.
