Lt. Gen. Michelle Johnson took over the reins of the Air Force Academy during a Change of Command Ceremony on Monday, August 12, 2013. Johnson is passed the flag of the Air Force Academy by Gen. Mark A. Welsh III, Chief of Staff of the U.S. Air Force. The outgoing Superintendent Lt. Gen. Michael Gould (right) is retiring after 37 years in the Air Force.
