Tom Freeman, a load master with the 302nd Airlift Wing, sits inside a modular airborne fire fighting system-equipped C-130 at the Peterson Air Force Base flight line Wednesday as his crew waited on word of when to depart for Black Forest. On Wednesday morning, Freeman learned that his childhood home in Black Forest was burned to the ground.
