Only the fireplace, chimney and ruble remained of the Robert Bensberg home on his Cheyenne mountain ranch. Edgar Bensberg and John Kelley, employed at the ranch, were in the six-room, one-story home at the time of the fire, about 3 p.m. Tuesday. Edgar Bensberg was taking a bath and Kelley preparing lunch, both believing the timber fire under control. Bensberg said today they escaped with some of the personal belongings, including clothes."
