All evacuations lifted after Monument acid spill

A vapor of gas from hydrochloric acid leaking from a train tanker car can be seen at the back of the tanker, right, in Monument, Colo. It has prompted the evacuation of 255 homes on Wednesday, April, 20, 2011. Residents of another 160 homes are expected to be evacuated Wednesday afternoon once crews start to transfer the remaining load of acid to another tanker as a precaution in case more acid leaks or causes an explosion.
