Leadville's 70th Ski Joring competition

Leadville celebrates 70 years of skijoring, a sport where a horse and rider charges down a snowy course with a skier in tow who has to land several jumps, pass through several gates and collect hanging rings as fast as possible, on Saturday, March 3, 2018. The competition, broken down into divisions by experience, can come down to tenths or even hundredths of a second as the horses gallop down the course.
