Colorado's state parks open for free on Black Friday

Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado hosted a Fresh Air Friday as a shopping alternative, opening all 41 state parks for free on Friday, November 24, 2017. Hundreds of people explored parks in the Pikes Peak Region, with gate counters estimating 90 carloads of people into Cheyenne Mountain State Park by 10 a.m. and counters at Mueller State Park estimating over 300 carloads by 3:30 p.m.
