9 places to have a romantic Valentine's Day dinner around Colorado Springs

The countdown to Feb. 14, 2017, is heating up. Here are a few options to check for reservations. There are a few places offering Valentine's Day specials before and after Feb. 14 in the Colorado Springs area.

The Warehouse

The Warehouse, 25 W. Cimarron St., offers "Between the Sheets" menu for two. It's a play on the fact that all menu items are prepared with sheets of dough, pasta or paper. Cost is $130 for three-course menu with choices of appetizers, entrées and desserts. Plus two "Between the Sheets" cocktails and a split bottle of prosecco. The Bistro on 2nd

The Bistro on 2nd, 65 Second St, Monument, offers a menu of specials from which to choose Feb. 13 to 18: appetizers $11 to $12; salads $7 to $8; entrées $21 to $41; and desserts $6 to $12. Red Gravy

Red Gravy, 23 S. Tejon St., will serve up a four-course dinner for $50 per person. Think fried oyster for a starter; choice of beef carpaccio, seared scallops or ricotta and spinach ravioli for the second course; choice of rack of lamb, duck breast or sea bass for an entree and dessert trio of chocolate heart, lemon tart and raspberry meringue.
