Musical Chairs supports Head Start programs

More than 60 participants played a round of musical chairs to support Head Start programs Thursday, August 8, 2013 outside the Ivywild School.

More than 60 people joined in for a game of musical chairs outside the Ivywild School Thursday, August 8, 2013 to support the El Paso County Head Start Program, which provides children living in poverty with a place to attend preschool. Sequestration cuts forced Head Start to close five classrooms and 142 slots this year. The musical chairs were taken from the classrooms that closed and were painted by Head Start students.
