The Colorado Springs Pride Center and Club Q will host a fundraiser at 7 p.m. Sunday for Inside Out Youth Services at Club Q, 3430 N. Academy Blvd.
Inside Out’s new office at 1409 Potter Drive was damaged early Friday by fire, the cause of which is under investigation. Items inside the center are “unrecoverable,” according to a news release Saturday from the Colorado Springs Pride Center.
Inside Out Youth Services provides support to, and advocates for, nearly 500 gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, intersex and questioning youths each year, Chris Robertson, the nonprofit’s executive director, told The Gazette on Friday.
The fundraiser will include performances by singers, male impersonators and the like, as well as a silent auction, said Charles Irwin, executive director of the Colorado Springs Pride Center.
Though the show is open to all ages, organizers would rather that those who attend are at least 18, Irwin said.
There is no charge for the event. All tips given to performers will be donated to Inside Out.
