A four-vehicle crash during the Monday morning commute at the intersection of North Powers and Stetson Hills boulevards shut traffic down to one lane, police said.

Initial reports of the 7:43 a.m. wreck said a Jeep Grand Cherokee, a white Hyundai sedan, a silver Mazda and a black Subaru Impreza were blocking the two left northbound lanes.

One car apparently went over the median and three more vehicles collided, police said.

Several people will be taken to a local hospital but their injuries were non life-threatening, police said.
