Fountain police are asking for the public's help to find a man they say is wanted on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Lauren Wilson, 43, is also suspected of first and second-degree assault, aggravated robbery and child abuse, according to a statement released by Fountain police Wednesday.

A domestic violence investigation involving Wilson began Friday at a home on the 7500 block of Dobbs Drive in Fountain, the statement read. Wilson left the scene before police arrived.

Wilson is believed to be in southern Colorado, possibly driving a blue Chevy Avalanche, police said.

Anyone with information can call Fountain police at 719-382-6936, or leave an anonymous tip on the Investigations Division Tip Line at 719-382-6956.
