The owner of a Fountain convenience store was arrested Saturday on suspicion of distribution of synthetic marijuana.

Kong Hoon Kim, 62, owner of the Kwik Way Store on 955 Lake Ave., had been the subject of an investigation by Fountain police detectives since late last summer, Sgt. M. Cho said. Approximately 96 grams of the drug, which is often referred to as spice, were confiscated by police during previously executed search warrants.
