Fort Collins woman cited in school bus crash

FORT COLLINS — A Fort Collins woman has been charged with careless driving causing injury after her car slammed into the back of a Poudre School District bus, injuring her, the bus driver and three students.

Trooper Nate Reid says 24-year-old Ashlie Dickerson was released from the hospital on Monday. The students and bus driver suffered minor injuries in the accident Friday morning.

Authorities say Dickerson's car ran into the back of the bus and got lodged underneath it while the bus was stopped.

Dickerson could not be located for comment Tuesday.
