Fort Carson soldier dies in Kuwait

Pfc. Monterrious T. Daniel, 19, a Fort Carson solider, was killed in a noncombat-related incident in Kuwait on Friday, the Department of Defense said Sunday.

Originally from Griffin, Ga., Daniel served in the 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.

Daniel, who according to his Facebook page went by Tray, joined the Army on April 29, 2014, and served for a year and two months before he was killed. He arrived at Fort Carson in October and was deployed to Kuwait on Feb. 16, according to Fort Carson.
