A building on Fort Carson was evacuated Wednesday after a woman displayed threatening behavior and suggested she had weapon during a medical appointment, Fort Carson officials said.

The incident was initially reported as a shooting by one news station, but sources at Fort Carson described the incident as minor, and confirmed that there was no shooting and no injuries.

According to a statement released by Fort Carson, the woman's "suspicious and threatening behavior" prompted the building's supervisor to take "prudent measures to evacuate and report the incident to authorities."

The woman was detained, Fort Carson officials said. They would say if she was a civilian or a soldier.
