Colorado Springs' dry streak is forecast to extend through the end of the work week and into the weekend, meteorologists say.
The National Weather Service in Pueblo predicted clear to partly sunny skies every day this week. Highs are expected to range between 50 and 70 degrees, with a high of 50 degrees Tuesday, 65 degrees Wednesday and 64 degrees Thursday.
Winds are expected to pick up a bit Thursday and Friday, with gusts reaching as high as 30 mph both days.
"Temps will soar into the 60s and 70s for the mid-week. Breezy afternoons will continue, with the windiest being Thursday. A few mountain showers are possible again late Thursday into early Friday," Gazette news partner KKTV said.
