In the wake of their new album "NOENEMIES," Denver band Flobots is taking it on the road. They'll land at The Black Sheep on Saturday.

2MX2 and Qbala will open the show. It starts at 7 p.m. and tickets cost $12-$15. Buy them online at ticketfly.com.

The band is known for its politically conscious music and involvement in grassroots community development in Denver. Its fourth album was released last month.

The alternative hip-hop band first crashed the music scene with its platinum single "Handlebars" in 2008 from its debut album, "Fight With Tools." According to the website Broadway World, it was the fastest-charting song debut by a new artist in a decade.
