Flash flood warning issued for northeastern El Paso County

The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a flash flood warning for northeastern El Paso County until 7:45 p.m. 

According to the weather service, Calhan and Peyton will experience flooding  of small creeks and streams, including Big Sandy Creek, Black Squirrel Creek, Horse Creek , Big Springs Creek, Antelope Creek and North Fork Horse Creek. 

Underpasses, streets, and highways are also at risk of flooding.
