Firefighters control small blaze at Colorado Springs apartments

Firefighters brought a fire under control that appeared to smolder in the attic of a Colorado Springs apartment complex.

The fire caused smoke to waft from the attic of the Montebello Gardens apartments, 4378 Montebello Drive, causing firefighters to search for the source before it spread, according to radio scanner traffic.

It wasn't known whether any tenants were displaced.
