Fire danger is expected to remain high in southeastern Colorado on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Pueblo.

A red flag warning is in effect for El Paso County, Pueblo County, Huerfano County and part of Las Animas County from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday. In Colorado Springs, weather is expected to be windy and temperatures should reach the low 70s. Clouds are forecast move in Saturday evening, bringing a small chance of rain and thunderstorms. Temperatures could dip into upper 30s.

Temperatures will be cooler Sunday with temperatures expected to be in the mid-50s.

Gusts of up to 45 mph are expected, along with a slight chance of rain and showers throughout the day.

The city could receive up to a quarter of an inch of precipitation Sunday.
