PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Fewer passengers flew into and out of Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport in January than in the same period a year ago.
The Rhode Island Airport Corporation on Friday released numbers that showed passenger traffic fell around 5 percent last month compared with January 2013.
It says 239,812 people flew into or out of the state's main airport in Warwick in January, compared with 251,791 the previous January.
For all of 2013, passenger traffic at the airport rose to 3.8 million passengers, a 4 percent from the previous year and the first increase in eight years.
