The blaze was reported about 3:20 a.m. in a storage shed next to a residence on the 2300 block of Monument Street, off Cache La Poudre Street.

Three adults, two children and two dogs were all able to get out unharmed, according to the fire department.

More than 20 firefighters had the fire under control shortly before 4 a.m. but the home was very close to the shed and sustained fire, smoke and water damage.
