The Falcon Fire Department has placed three of its employees on paid administrative leave during a personnel investigation.

Battalion Chief Jeff Petersma, Battalion Chief Cory Galicia and Fire Chief Trent Harwig were placed on leave after the fire protection district's board of directors voted at an April 24 meeting, according to a press release.

Mountain States Employers Counsel was hired to conduct the investigation.

Division Chief Glenn Levy was appointed acting fire chief and had no comment about the investigation.
