The local Everest College campus is hosting a free, family-oriented holiday party for the community from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday at 1815 Jet Wing Drive.

An ugly sweater contest and a raffle will be held, with drawings between 2-3 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Children can make holiday crafts, including greeting cards, gingerbread houses and ornaments. All attendees will be able to participate in Holiday Mail for Heroes and send holiday cards to veterans, military families and active-duty service members around the world. Santa will be at the party for visits and photos.

And, the first 15 people to attend the party will receive a voucher for a free 60-minute massage from the college, which offers massage therapy training, along with programs for careers as medical administrative assistant and medical assistant, and in the fields of criminal justice, accounting and business.

Campus tours and instructors also will be available for anyone interested in learning about the school's programs.
