High school student journalists and communicators are invited to enter a communications contest sponsored by Colorado Press Women for work published between March 1, 2013, and Feb. 14, 2014.

Twenty categories of competition are available, including news and feature stories, editorials, columns, photos, cartoons, graphics, layout, video stories and yearbook work. Students currently in grades 9-12 are eligible, along with students who graduated in the spring of 2013, whose work was published between March 1, 2013, and the end of the 2013 school year.

First-place entries will advance to the National Federation of Press Women Contest. Entries are due Feb. 14.

Go to www.nfpw.org/highSchoolContest.cfm for guidelines and entry forms.
